Emilynn Rae Gunn

It's been such a long time since I've done a post. I want to introduce you to the newest edition to the Gunn family, Emilynn Rae Gunn.



She was born on October 25, 2010 at 7:22 am. She weighed 9 lbs 3.4 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. Her big sister absolutely loves her, as you can see from the picture.

Since April...

We bought a bought a house in May. We are still working on getting everything the way we want it.




Leah started preschool at Creative Learning Center.





Leah got her first big girl hair cut.


Now we are anxiously awaiting our baby girl's 3rd birthday!

Leah's new house (hopefully)

Leah may be getting to move in about 6 weeks! We just put an offer on a house and it was accepted! We are very excited and will keep updating the blog with more details.

Warm Weather

We have really enjoyed the warm weather that we have had lately. Leah has gotten a lot of use out her tricycle!

Piggie Tails!

We are so excited that Leah has enough hair now to have Piggie Tails!

Christmas 08

The Gunn Family started their Christmas celebrations on Tuesday, December 23 with Mimi and Poppy Gunn at Chris and Rebecca's house.







Then, on Christmas Eve, we went to Matt and Anna's for their Christmas Eve service and Christmas with Grammie and Papa and Emily and Drew.








Ho Ho came that night and brought Leah all kinds of goodies.






After Leah played with some of her toys, we went back to Chris and Rebecca's for Christmas dinner with Mamaw and Papaw.

On Friday, December 26, we went to Marion to Christmas with the Brockman/Huber clan. Leah really enjoyed playing with her 2nd cousin Ella.

November

This has been a fast month! We've honored Texas Jack.





Leah turned 2! We took her to Hands On Museum! during the day and then partied that night.







Even this week has been fast! We've had tubes put in and adenoids taken out and two Thanksgiving meals!

Fall Fun

We've had a lot of fun this fall. We've been to the circus.



Where she loved the "tiggers."

We've also carved a pumpkin.




Leah's favorite thing to do was to eat the raw pumpkin.

Opie

Grammie and Papa finally have a new edition to their family. Meet Opie.



He is a Maltese/Poodle mix. He weighs 3 lbs and is about 10 inches. He is small enough to fit through the slats on their side porch. Leah has stuffed animals bigger than Opie, so she thinks he is a toy.

Fish

A couple of weeks ago we took Leah to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for the night. While we were there, we took her to Ripley's Aquarium and to the Rainforest Adventure Zoo. She had a ball at both places. She got to pet a crab.


Other exciting news from the trip, Mommy took Leah swimming in the hotel's saltwater pool and Leah started to float by herself. Mommy and Daddy are very proud of her!

Memorial Day Fun

On Memorial Day, we cooked out at Mamaw and Papaw's and had a fun time playing with Leah's Cousins Robert, Rene, and Scottie.

Leah

It's been awhile since we have done a post. To catch you up, our bug has gotten tall and skinny. She has cut 1 molar and is working on another. She can talk in sentences when she wants to. Her favorites are "I wanna go bye bye or I wanna see Papa or Papaw!" She has learned some animal sounds. She says UF for dog, cack for duck, OO OO for a monkey, and will typically say these instead of the actual name. She loves to go outside and will say "Outsi'" when she wants to go. She can blow kisses and give them now.


She is definitely her mommy's daughter because she is a fish in the water.

Toddler Times

It's been awhile since the last post. We've been waiting on a new computer that just got here.

Leah is Walking! EVERYWHERE! She climb steps, which can be very scary for mommy, because she knows she can.

She can show you her nose, mouth, and ears, and do the same on you. She can say all three.

She has started to pretend. She will pick up imaginary things and bring them to you or eat it before she gets to you.

She loves to love (hug) anything and everything, including Jack, who is typically a good sport and puts up with it.

She has finally graduated to her "big girl seat" and is facing forward, which she loves.

One Year Old

It's hard to believe that our "bug" is already a year old! Time sure flies. We celebrated her birthday on Saturday with a party at Grammy and Papa's house. She loved exploring her cake.

Or dumping it everywhere. She got lots of warm fuzzy pajamas, perfect for our cold nights. But the biggest hits were her ball and her giant ladybug. Everyone took turns laying on it.

Halloween

Today Leah celebrated her first Halloween. She had a ball as a ladybug. We saw Mamaw, Uncle Rob, Aunt Jess and Emma, Uncle Drew and Auntie Em, DaDa at work and Grammy and Papa.

Happy Birthday Emma!

On Tuesday, August 28th, Mommy and I went to Emma's birthday party. She got all kinds of cool birthday presents. I just wanted to play with the bag.
